Car Usage: Prototype The sides of the base rocker panels turn and extend upward just like on its HK sibling.  One can see that externally, the US and HK started off much the same before the US side made major changes.

When viewing the external side of the chassis, both front and rear axle areas have additional support and raised area additions both directly between the axles and on on the sides of the base from where the axles protude. Chassis width was narrowed. Lots of internal beveling added.

The majority of J-Cars carry the Type B Chassis.
