The Chassis is what makes this one special. It has no TM after the words "FORD J-CAR"

May have still only had the one tool for casting the bodies Very early car which received the Trademark symbol (TM) on the chassis after the words "FORD J-CAR"

Type 3 - Early Run - Cross Bar Tail w/rounded tips

The body changes with the addition of a cross bar at the top of the bodies tail area. Body is now being cast with two different tools. Black interior is introduced. Not yet seen which hatches were on this combination????

Type 4 - Early Run - Cross Bar Tail w/straight tips

The base changes again, taking the curves off of the chassis nose pieces. Last of the first "A" hatches

Type 5 - Early Run - Cross Bar Tail w/straight tips

There seems to be a lot of cars out there at this point in time.

Type 6 - Mid Run - Standard

The Body changes as the fit of the body to the base was improved by extending the length of the front air dam under the body. Interior colors other than Black have been eliminated.

Type 7 - Mid Run - Standard w/Axle supports

A new chassis is added with additional support for the axles.

Both Body & Chassis changed with modifications to improve the hatch mechanism from breaking off to easily. These cars used leftover earlier version hatches.

The most common J-Cars of them all. Some leftover C chassis were used up.

The body had Headlight Cover Screws added. So far these have only been seen in Hot Pink and on only one of the two bodies (Tool #2)
